Chemical Dosing Units
For precise dosage of chemicals, adhesion promoters and anti stripping agents to hot mix asphalt plants, DenimoTECH has developed two lines of high accuracy dosage units.
The dosage lines are available for batch systems as well as inline systems in a broad range of capacities.
Batch Dosing Unit (BDU)
The DenimoTECH dosing unit is used for measured dosing of adhesive chemicals and anti-stripping agents in you batch production.
The standard system includes filter, pipes and connections, gear pump with an AC motor, flow meters and pressure gauge on a galvanized console to be mounted on the amine tank. A control panel to be mounted in the control room of the plant includes a digital batch counter.
Optional components are available, allowing more automated operations. Those include an automated operation of the three-way valve, which signals direction control for the injection valve, and automatically switches the valve from circulation to filling and back to circulation.
Inline Dosing Unit (IDU)
The DenimoTECH dosing unit is used for measured dosing of adhesive chemicals and anti-stripping agents in your continuous production.
The unit includes filter, pump, flow meter, pressure gauge, valves and couplings. It also has a static mixer with pressure gauge and valve for connection of amine dosing pipe to the bitumen line. It includes one control panel (with on/off button control for the pump and regulator for automatic control of amine dosage in percent of measured bitumen flow), to be installed in the control room of the asphalt plant.
The amine dosage is set as a percentage value of the bitumen dosage. During operation the amine flow is continuously measured and adjusted in relation to the actual bitumen flow by changing the amine pump speed. This means the relative amine dosage will be correct even if the bitumen flow changes.
